American small businesses lose billions of dollars a year to calls that go to voicemail. Switch already had the technology to capture those calls — proven by 30,265+ verified reviews. We built Switchphone to give that capability to every Main Street business.

My mission is simple: every small business should capture every call, and every owner should get their time back to focus on the work only they can do.

I started working on AI in 2016 with word-vector-based chatbots and eventually speech recognition for phone calls.

Over the next 5 years, we built call analytics systems for sales and customer service calls serving large enterprises in e-commerce, financial services, and retail.

While serving large enterprises enabled us to build powerful models, we wanted to democratize this technology and make it accessible to small businesses and individual entrepreneurs. In 2021, we launched Switch, the first consumer mobile app for transcribing and summarizing phone calls.

Switchphone is the next step in the evolution to now a full-blown AI agent, built on homegrown tech and experience through two AI cycles, to empower the backbone of the Main Street economy: individual entrepreneurs and small businesses.
